Class is in session

So I almost didn't make my blog post today and it is only day 3 of NaBloPoMo!

I started my MBA Bootcamp course today and it is intense. We start at 8am and go until 6pm. After my 30 minute commute home, I was left with only 15 minutes to let my dog out to potty and change shoes before I had to head to Bible study. I finally got home at 9:30, dealt with some work issues that came up over email today and missed the whole SNL Political Bash episode.

Between all the issues that were stirred up in Bootcamp, Bible Study, and in my absence at work, my brain hurts! I love it though. I love learning and thinking and asking the tough questions of not only myself, but those around me. I have some great topics to explore for future blog posts, but some things you just can't completely analyze and wrap your head around in one day.

So I'll just leave you with a list of what I am thankful for today:

-Free Breakfast Burritos in the break room at Bootcamp
-Free cheesecake as an afternoon snack at Bootcamp
-Forcing myself to think critically about things
-Being surrounded by smart people to learn from
-Being surrounded by stupid people to learn from
-The convenience and time efficiency of drive thru windows
-Freedom of speech
-After tomorrow, no more political ads for hopefully a LONG time
-And as always, God, family and friends!

If you haven't already got your VOTE on, you better get out there and exercise your right and responsibility as an American citizen tomorrow!
