What are you reading?

So today you should head over to my Bookshelf Blog to read my latest reviews of the things I've been reading.

In case you're too lazy for that, here is the Twitter version:

Dear John: still heart Nicholas Sparks...true love ain't always easy

Flashbang: Hilarious! and I learned something!

The Story of Edgar Swatelle: made me cuddle Cam a little more each night, but the ending was not what I was hoping for.

Have you read any of these? What are your thoughts?

What are you reading?

I read Dear John a long time ago and just saw the movie last week. I still have to say that The Notebook was the BEST adaptation of a Nicholas Sparks book but it was still a good movie and that Channing boy is too hot for words.

Saw your comment about Lauren Conrad - you should definitely read L.A. Candy - it's surprisingly good but my expectations weren't high.

Oh and a book recommendation - Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert. I just finished her book Committed and it was good too - but not like Eat, Pray, Love. Definitely one of my favorites of all time!

I just read Dear John...oh so sad. I wish it had ended differently, but it was really good. Makes you think of how fortunate you are and not to take love for granted. And communication too!

I want to read his other books too :) Haven't heard much about them yet though!

must check out Flash Bang. I love to hear about funny books. :)

I don't know if you entered the Holey Donuts giveaway or not, but if you could check out this post and do so for my blog, it would mean a TON for my family and you can enter for the book afterwards too if you wish (White Cat by Holly Black ARC)!:

I just finished Dear John a few weeks ago. It was a little different than I expected but still a good read. I personally like Nicholas Sparks' style. I can't wait to see how they did with the movie.
