For the next 2 1/2 weeks I am taking the stairs at work. I work on the 5th floor. By the time I get to the 4th floor I have to slow down and trudge up the last flight and when I get to the 5th floor door I have to pause to catch my breath. It ain't easy.
confession: ok I just slipped up and took the elevator a minute ago, but it was because I was carrying a big plate of food and a drink back up to my desk and didn't want to trip up the stairs and end up wearing my lunch!
I'm also doing this:
Every night. In addition to my regular weight training (because this workout is seriously lacking arm stuff!) and extra running (I have to run at least 10 minutes, but usually do 20-40).
I hope it makes some kind of difference before my beach trip because I really miss wearing a bikini in public!
How do you prepare for a beach trip?

um, maybe you should put down the big plate of food...
This workout sounds awesome! I've never heard of it, but I'm definitely going to start incorporating it into my gym routine to switch things up. And that is great about taking the stairs! When I worked downtown, I was forced to walk 5 flights to get to my car and I could seriously feel the burn by the time I got to the top. A simple yet great way to get in some exercise.
Oh sorry Mr. Anonymous I forgot anorexia was the only real way to get skinny. Thanks for the reminder. So NO eating for the next 2 weeks. Got it.
Seriously, you are a MACHINE. A machine!! That is intense. But I bet it feels soooo good afterward!

Hey Suz! I'm in the process of packing boxes for my new apartment and I found the card you had sent me when I won your Starbucks card giveaway. Just wanted to tell you that I am keeping it :) and that I thank you for your generosity!!
Wow - that workout routine sounds painful! Lol. Hopefully you are in good enough shape to do it - it would surely kill me. ;P Hopefully it will work though! And have a great vacation. :)
I want to try this workout! I looks like fun! Thanks for sharing :)
